Introduction to Vitamin B12

Types of Vitamin B12
There are four types of Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin:
Cyanocobalamin
Cyanocobalamin is a synthetic form of B12. The body needs to convert it into methylcobalamin and then to adenosylcobalamin for absorption. This version contains a small amount of the cyanide molecule, which gives it its name. There is some research suggesting it may cause issues for individuals with kidney problems. Methylcobalamin

Hydroxocobalamin
